Our personal database of the 130,000 most important trotters and pacers
As Standardbred breeders we struggled to find an easy way to research and design matings for our small band of broodmares. Paging through the clunky, fine print of Sires and Dams was not only slow, but tedious to say the least! We tried to buy a database from the
USTA, but they wouldn’t sell us the information at any price. We couldn’t be the only breeders to have this trouble. So we developed our own database and combined it with our powerful Pedigree Plus pedigree design software (see
Pedigree Plus for features). Now, we’re ready to share it with our fellow Standardbred breeders.
Our Standardbred database contains the 75,000 fastest 2:00 trotters and pacers
(races through 2000), along with
55,000 other important Standardbred sires and dams found in today’s pedigrees. Each record contains their name, sire, dam, gait, sex, year of birth, fastest winning time and age. We have also tweaked our Pedigree Plus software to take advantage of this useful database. Not only will you be able to design hypothetical
matings, we have added the ability to print three different styles of pedigrees, along with several other reports we have found useful and think you will, too. You may also search for horses in the database by name, sire, dam, dam’s sire, gait, sex, earnings or fastest time.
Pedigree Plus Software for Standardbreds combines the drive engine of our sophisticated Pedigree Plus Software with the largest Standardbred database available. No serious Standardbred breeder should be without it!
Requires a Pentium PC Compatible computer, 16 mb Ram, 10 mb Hard Disk Space, CD-ROM drive, Windows
95 or greater. Computer software is sold on a non-returnable basis.
Please note: Pedigree Plus for Standardbreds is not Windows Vista compatible - an upgrade will
be available in 2008. |
