I have worked part-time for the Russell Meerdink Company since March of 1995. After
Lynn invoices your orders, it is my job to get your items together, package them up and ship them off to you in the most efficient manner possible. You will also talk to me on the phone occasionally when everyone else is tied up.
I have lived in the Neenah area of Wisconsin
all of my life. My husband, Jerry, works for the Neenah Foundry Company.
(When you walk down the street, look at the man hole covers - they were
probably made in Neenah.) We have three children. Our oldest is our son
Larry who still lives and works in Neenah with his wife, Cathy, and their
daughter (our most beautiful granddaughter) Morgan. Grandparenthood is the
best! The oldest of our two daughters is Kristy. Kristy lives in the St.
Paul, MN area with her husband, Brad, and works for Jared's, a jewelry store
in Maple Grove, MN. The youngest is Amanda. Amanda lives and works in San
Diego, CA, playing rugby on the weekends. We had a tough time getting them
all to move out, but we're finally back to just Jerry, myself, and the last
member of our family - the dog. Baja is our long-legged Chihuahua who used
to be able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. He is getting older
now, but still manages to keep us safe by keeping all sorts of intruders at
bay, whether they are of the 2 legged or 4 legged type, real or imaginary.
Although we are horseless, we have plenty of horsepower sitting next to our
garage. Included in our stable of cars is a '73 Mustang Mach I and Jerry's
pride and joy, our AC Cobra which he assembled himself (with the help of the
neighbor men). My current everyday car is an S4 Audi and Jerry’s is a
4-wheel drive Ford truck (both of which are excellent vehicles to have with
our unpredictable Wisconsin winters). In the warmer months (or if the temp
is at least 55 degrees) we each have our own Moped, which we take to work
and cruise around on. Needless to say, we can never use the excuse that the
car won't start!!!
Our latest hobby is boating ... we have a 23.5 Larson Hampton with a
cuddy cabin (aka Moose Knuts) which enables us to have all the comforts of
home on those extended boating excursions. Look for us on Lake Winnebago at
Streich's or the Weed Bed on Lake Poygan.
Though my family and our extracurricular activities keep me busy, I
always have time to get your orders off to you. If you ever need anything in
a hurry, just let us know and I will try to get it to you as soon as
possible.
