Q: How do I know if I have the current version of Equifacts?
From the Equifacts main menu, select ABOUT at the top of the screen. The current version number is 1.0.6.
1. Download the update below and save it to your desktop.
2. Once downloaded, double left click the Equpdate.exe icon.
4. The update will prompt you with the directory in which it will be installed. If you did not change the default directory when you installed the program, click UNZIP. If you changed the default directory, type in the name of the directory where you installed the program and click UNZIP.

Update Instructions for Pedigree Plus for Standardbreds
Q: How do I know if I need the update?
The latest version of Pedigree Plus for Standardbreds has a stbplus.exe file with a creation date of 1/10/99.
Installing the update is easy. Just follow these simple instructions:
1. Download the update below and save it to your c:\temp directory.
2. If you are using Win 3.1, Select FILE at the top of the screen, then click RUN.
If you are using Win 95/98, click the START button, then select RUN.
3. Type c:\temp\update.exe then click OK.
4. The update will prompt you with the directory in which it will be installed. If you did not change the default directory when you installed the program, click UNZIP. If you changed the default directory, type in the name of the directory where you installed the program and click UNZIP.
5. Click BEGIN UPDATE. This is a long process which updates the sex of the horses. This process may take 45 minutes or more depending upon the speed of your computer.
6. The update will prompt you when it is finished. Press OK, then click the X in the upper right hand corner of the update window to close it.
